Skylar Cantrell is a leading fashion and accessory designer. Recently named one of the 30 best fashion designers under 30 in 2013, Skylar recently joined Marc Jacobs Intl. as Lead Apparel Designer from Ralph Lauren where she served as Senior Accessory Designer. She is also the owner and operator of a traveling pop-up shop which has been known to make frequent appearances on the Lower East Side and in Nolita. It has been hailed as a championing a style uniquely her own: “Desert chic.”

She also contributed her unique taste and style to several Haute collections including ones for Dior, Helmut Lang, and Proenza Schuler.

Skylar’s work has been described as “cerebral and postmodern,” despite her fondness for simple shapes, lines, and colors. Her own approach to everyday fashion and laid back style have made her a celebrated icon among fashion’s elite circles, where high prices are often mistaken for high style.

Skylar graduated from SCAD with a BFA in fashion design.
